Comet had more races than this but only his Rye House races are recorded here, as data from his Peterborough, Sittingbourne and Catford races could not be found.
Comet very sadly died of a heart attack during the night when he was only three. He had made an excellent start to his career at Rye House winning 3 out of his first 7 races there! He was also on his way to winning another race after going clear at the first bend, but another dog fell over and got up and started running the wrong way so the race had to be stopped. That would of taken his total to 4 out of 8, an impressive 50% win record!!!
Like his brothers, comet also ran at Peterborough, Sittingbourne and Catford while under the care of other trainers, before comming 'home' and starting his Rye House Carreer!
