Patsy is the show off of the family, and loves batting her eyelids at anyone who looks at her or goes near her. Her biggest achievements include runner up by a neck in the Greyhound Breeders Forum British Bred Stakes at Rye House and winning the first 383m race to be staged at Rye House, beating Lexington Avenue, and therefore holding the track record for a week!!!

As Patsy is such a show off, she would like to have her say on here.....

"Hi, welcome to my page! My names Patsy, although some of you may know me better as 'Lucky Pat'. I was lucky during my racing days, winning 10 from 65 races. I much preferred the shorter distances, as with my small legs I found distances over 435m a struggle. I was top grade over 435m at Rye House and I set the track record for the 383m in an Open race (OK, it may have been the first running over the distance, but who cares!?!). I also have the honour  of being the fastest dog at trap rise, as i'm so small I used to nip under the traps when they were only half open (hehe!). I ran in an open at Crayford once, flew out as usual, but just as I was about to turn the first bend and say "Catch me if you can!!" to the others, I got smashed out of contention and just stopped myself in time before I hit the wall surrounding the outside of the track. By the time I got running again, I was too far behind to get back into the race. You see, I was the reserve and had been allocated the 'Coffin Box' (Trap 4 for those of you who dont speak the lingo). As a railer (and known for scraping the paint from the rail - metaphorically) Trap 1 was my favourite and so from 4, I couldn't get to the rail quick enough to avoid the others. Ah well, thats racing...."

"I'm Retired now (only recently after hurting my shoulder in my last race in October 2006) but have recovered already and love running up and down the gallop with my friends Toffee, Rosie and the rest. I'm looking forward to my retirement and possibly winning the retired category at one of the main dog shows, after all, I love batting my eyelids at anyone I can!!!"
