Lady was bought from Elbony Kennels in Ireland and reared there. She then came to England in November 2005 and began racing at Rye House. She won her third ever race race there but soon after came into season so needed a break. She came second in her comeback race but in doing so injured her stopper bone in her wrist so needed a lot of time off to recover. Just as she was ready to make a comeback, after galloping well, Rye House shut so she had nowhere to run. As there was no prospect of her being able to run anywhere local and we were not sure if her wrist would hold up to running the bends at full speed, she was rehomed through Northhants Greyhound Rescue - and features on the front cover of their 2008 Calendar!!
