Brutus has already won a competition even though he isn't even old enough to race yet!!! He won The Norman St Johnston Memorial Stakes for the Ron Penney Memorial Trophy - otherwise known as the class for puppies whelped January 2006 to March 2006 at the Greyhound Breeders Festival 2006 at Harlow. As you can see from the photo below, he was very proud of himself, especially because he beat Freddie!!
Brutus is otherwise a bit of a wimp, and loses in play fights to Colin and has to go running to his mummy for help!! Like the rest of his brothers and sisters, he is now running - and winning - at Crayford!!
