Herbie did not race as he broke one of his front legs when he was only 6 weeks old and had to have a pin inserted into it. He lived in the house for all but the first 6 weeks of his life, apart from the holidays he enjoyed with everyone in Norfolk every year. He loved playing chasing games over the park with the German Shepherds - appart from the time he ran into one of them after they suddenly stopped and he broke his leg again!!
After his leg healed though he was back chasing the others again. Although he didn't races, Herbie did learn to sit, lie down and give you his paw on command!!
Herbie was very popular with everyone who met him, especially all of the children he met when he walked to school with us in the mornings!
Herbie died of heart failure and is now greatly missed by everyone.
