Jeanie won many races at many different tracks including Canterbury, Hackney, Crayford, Harlow, Sittingbourne (on the opening night of Central Park Stadium) and Romford. Her greatest achievement of her career was being the runner up in the Crayford Rosebowl on the 11th February 1995. After falling out of the traps, she accelerated to the first bend where she found trouble. However, she didnt give up and set about catching the dog in front. She was gaining on the leader, Dongadong, fast but the line was also quickly appearing. Both dogs crossed the line together and a Photo Finish was called. Fifteen minutes later the winner was announced as Dongadong, by the shortest of Short Heads!!!

After retiring in 1997, she had a rest and then was one of the first bitches to be mated to Lenson Billy and produced three dogs, Noahs Sky, Noahs Star and Noahs Comet in December 1998. All three made it to the track, winning many races between them. Just over two years later, she was mated to Small Fortune and produced 7 pups, 5 bitches and 2 dogs. Rocky (Noahs Shamrock), Emmy (Noahs Emerald), Guinness (Noahs Guinness) and Sasha (unnamed) did not race and were rehomed. Sasha now does agility competitions!!!  Noahs Clover injured her knee when young by running into a fence post so now lives at home - (see her page).

Noahs Colleen and Noahs Lucky Pat did make it to the track and you can read about them on their own pages!

Jeanie enjoyed retirement to the fullest, having twice daily walks and going mad when she saw a squirrel -something her daughters inherited from her!! Jeanie never calmed down and was always very excitable, even the day before she died. Jeanie had no illnesses but sadly died overnight in her sleep on the second of March 2004.

Her spirit now lives on in her daughters, and now in her granddaughters and grandsons too!!
