Penny's biggest achievement was winning the Boxing Day Kennel Sweepstake competition at Canterbury. For her efforts she earned two trophys, one for the final and one for the semi final. As well as this she also won many other races, but as this was now a long time ago, we do not have a record of these.
Penny enjoyed a long and happy retirement indoors surrounded by cuddly toys, as you can see from the photos. She sadly died of a heart attack in 2003 after recovering well from a stroke she had the previous year.
